The Suzuhiro Oden Festival celebrates oden, a popular Japanese winter comfort food featuring ingredients like boiled eggs, daikon radish, and fishcakes stewed in a soy sauce and dashi broth. Held from January 11th until the end of February, the festival offers a chance to sample creative oden varieties, including curry oden with 18 spices, yuzu miso oden, and even oden-inspired sweets. There is no admission fee, but bring money to enjoy the oden on offer.
