McDonald's Japan has launched a surprising collaboration with Dragon Quest, featuring Slime-themed nesting dolls. These aren't Happy Meal toys; they're a standalone item called "McDonald’s x Dragon Quest Slime in Slime," featuring McDonald's characters reimagined as Slimes.
For 2,990 yen (US$19.50), you can acquire this quintet of Slimes, including the classic Slime and Metal Slime. The larger figures can even be used as containers for small items, adding a practical element to the collectible.
To purchase, register via the McDonald’s Japan app for a lottery. Applications are open until January 7, with Slimes available for pickup between January 19 and 25 at McDonald’s Japan branches. Note that you'll need at least 50 My McDonald Reward Points to apply.
