Studio Ghibli announces 'A Night in the Valley of the Witches,' a new short anime film premiering at Ghibli Park this summer. This is the first new Ghibli short since 2018, created specifically for the park's Valley of Witches area.
Get ready for a new Studio Ghibli experience at Ghibli Park near Nagoya! Starting this summer, the park's Cinema Orion will feature 'A Night in the Valley of the Witches,' a brand-new short anime exclusive to the park.
The anime is set in the park's Valley of Witches area, featuring recreations of worlds from Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, and Earwig and the Witch. It's co-directed by Goro Miyazaki and Akihiko Yamashita, known for their work on Howl's Moving Castle and The Secret World of Arrietty.
Tickets for July visits go on sale May 10th. To see the new anime, ensure your ticket includes admission to Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, where Cinema Orion is located. Don't miss this unique Ghibli experience!
