Experience Kyoto's Heian Shrine after dark this spring during the Sakura Otoyo light-up event. From April 1-5, enjoy illuminated cherry blossoms and live musical performances.
Heian Shrine in Kyoto will host its annual Sakura Otoyo event from April 1st to 5th, offering a unique nighttime experience. The Otenmon gate, Daigokuden hall, and gardens will be illuminated, creating a stunning contrast between the cherry blossoms and the night sky.
Enjoy live musical performances near the Higashi Shinen pond, featuring contemporary instrumental artists and vocalists. The event runs from 6:15 to 9 p.m.
Tickets cost 1,500 yen (pre-purchase) or 2,000 yen at the gate. Combination tickets for the light-up and musical performances are also available.
