This unique service is part of a tour package designed by JR Central and JTB, enhancing the journey to iconic destinations like the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Centre.
The Hokusai Special Train is more than just transportation; it's an immersive cultural experience. The train's interior showcases Katsushika Hokusai's 'Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji,' providing travelers with an artistic journey. The 45-minute ride includes photo stops and insights into Hokusai's work.
Tickets are part of a 24,000 yen tour package that includes transport from Tokyo, activities, lunch, and return transport to Mishima. Advance reservations are required through Sunrise Tours, JTB's foreign traveler division, for this exclusive Mt. Fuji experience.
