Relive the '90s purikura craze at Furyu's 30th-anniversary exhibit in Shibuya, Tokyo, from March 20 to April 5. Experience vintage machines and new tech, plus freebies!
Get ready for a nostalgic trip back to the '90s with the Dear Reiwa, Uchira no Puri-ten By Heisei exhibit in Shibuya, Tokyo. This event celebrates 30 years of purikura (sticker picture booths), a cultural phenomenon that defined the Heisei era. The exhibit runs from March 20 to April 5 at Openbase Shibuya.
Explore three zones: the Anniversary Zone with historical machines, the Puri Play zone showcasing innovative booth features, and the Puri from Here on Out area featuring the latest Centi:U booth. Don't miss the tunnel of vintage booth curtains and the "dark history" section for a dose of nostalgia and awkwardness.
Admission is free, and while supplies last, you'll receive a commemorative sticker and even eyelash extensions to complete your Heisei-era look. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., the exhibit is conveniently located near Shibuya Station's Hachiko Gate.
