More Shinkansen bullet trains are being added to Japan’s popular "golden route" between Tokyo and Osaka. New trains at peak times and early-morning/late-night departures will make travel easier.
Traveling between Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka will become easier with increased Shinkansen service. JR Central is adding trains during peak travel times, with up to 13 Nozomi trains per hour in each direction. New early morning and late night departures are also being added, extending service further into the day.
